"Network" doesn't mean we list every building with a website in the DC metro. It means every community we're willing to put in front of a family has been checked against a specific bar: active license, no unresolved disciplinary action, transparent pricing, and - where possible - an in-person visit by someone on our team. Communities that won't disclose pricing or that carry open violations don't make the list, no matter how much they'd like to.

What gets a community into the network
- Active, unencumbered license - verified through DC Health's Health Regulation and Licensing Administration inspection and licensing records for DC communities, the Maryland OHCQ facility directory and published survey results for Maryland, or the VDSS assisted living facility search tool and VDH nursing-facility inspection records for Virginia.
- No open disciplinary action at time of listing.
- Transparent pricing. Communities that won't disclose a real monthly number don't get referred to families - full stop.
- A site visit by someone on our team within the past 12 months where possible.
- Real family feedback, gathered directly rather than pulled from curated review sites.

How we keep it current
Licenses and inspection results are re-checked on an ongoing basis, and pricing is refreshed roughly every 30 days from active local providers. If a community's license lapses or a disciplinary action opens, it comes off the referral list until it's resolved.
Checking a listing yourself
You don't have to take our vetting on faith. Every community we refer can be looked up directly through its own jurisdiction's regulator - DC Health's Health Regulation and Licensing Administration, Maryland's OHCQ facility directory, or the Virginia VDSS/VDH search tools - to confirm license status and any inspection findings before you tour. We'd rather you check than assume.
